Glacier Processing Cooperative’s goal is to continue a service-based slaughter and processing facility that prioritizes producers, that is cooperatively owned by producers. Please read our BYLAWS, and ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION on becoming a member.
MARK SIDERIUS - CHAIR
Mark is an owner-operator of Siderius Family Farm LLC and Mark Siderius Construction LLC. His board experience includes: President for Flathead County Farmers Union Local, Flathead Conservation District, Flathead River Commission, Fair-Mont-Egan School board, Montana Noxious Weed Free Forage Council, and the Farm Service Agency County committee. Mark’s family has been farming and ranching in the Flathead Valley for more than a century, and he is a fourth-generation local farmer. He has been involved in livestock production all of his life. He and his wife took over the feedlot and direct marketing side of the operation over 20 years ago and have continued to grow that side of the business ever since.
CASEY OLSEN - VICE CHAIR
Casey is a second-generation Flathead Valley farmer and rancher. As a family-owned and -operated business, the Olson family has been direct marketing feed and meat products to the local community for over fifty years. Casey has served on numerous local youth boards as well as two years as the president of the state water well drillers association. Casey owns a well service business, manages the family farm, and continues to volunteer wherever he can.
LISA WADE MAYORGA - SECRETARY/TREASURER
Lisa is a fourth-generation livestock producer from Montana and manages the family ranching business. She and her family have grass fed, certified organic cattle that they raise, finish, and market locally. She also has a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Montana Tech and has worked over 25 years in the mining industry. Lisa serves on the Board of Directors of two mining companies and the Montana Tech industrial alumni advisory board.
CHRIS FRITZ
Chris has been a lifetime resident of the Flathead Valley, growing up on his parents’ dairy farm. He attended Montana State University and received his Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness with a Minor in Economics. He came back to the Flathead after graduating and has been a farmer/rancher in the Flathead Valley for 16 years. He raises Black Angus and Black Baldy cattle. He grows a variety of crops including wheat, barley, canola, peas, and corn. He, along with his family, run an agritourism business called the Fritz Corn Maze in the fall. He is currently on the Farm Service Agency board. He previously served on the state Montana Farmers Union Board. He is also involved in the local Montana Farmers Union chapter, currently serving as Vice President.
TOBY HOOK
Toby was born and raised in Kalispell, Montana, and has been involved in the cattle industry his entire life. Starting his own herd at the age of 12, he was very active in 4H growing up, taking steers he raised himself to the fair every year. In his early 20s, he started working on a ranch while continuing to build up his own operation to support his family. In his early 30s, he expanded and built up his operation with the help & support from his father-in-law. Today he raises red Angus along with a few black Angus. Early spring of 2020, Toby and his wife started selling their beef through their own meat depot shop. In 2019, he became an active board member with the Western Montana Stockmen’s Association, and he is also an active board member for the Northwestern Ag Research Center.
JOSH GIFFIN
MICK DIEDE
Mick was raised on a small farm near Billings, Montana. He and his wife relocated to the Flathead Valley in 1976 and have since owned and operated a small farm south of Kalispell. Mick has over thirty years experience serving local youth boards, particularly 4H where the Diede family has deep roots showing hogs. Mick has worked for over fifty years as a masonry contractor and dedicates time to serve his community wherever the need arises.
